Padlet 😎 Technology continues to transform education and empower students in their learning journey. Educational institutions must make the difficult decision of whether devices and technology models will help them realize their ambitions of transforming learning. Device decisions should be decided in collaboration with numerous stakeholders and after assessing how educators and students utilize the devices on a daily basis (1). There are various technology tools which can be utilized in educations. One particular technology I am not familiar with is Padlet. Padlet is a collaborative learning platform that allows you to create single or several walls that may hold all of the content you want to publish. It's a blank canvas for everything from films and photographs to documents and audio (2). Padlet enhances the concept of the notice board by digitizing it. This creates a space for educators and students to collaborate in a way that is superior to the real-world version (2).

The COI as a framework for online/blended learning

The Community of Inquiry (COI) theoretical framework provides a process of developing three interconnected elements: social, cognitive, and teaching presence, in order to create a deep and meaningful learning experience (1). The ability of learners to project their personal qualities into the community of inquiry, thereby presenting themselves as ‘real people,' is referred to as social presence. The ability of members in any particular configuration of a community of inquiry to generate meaning via prolonged dialogue is referred to as cognitive presence (1). Whereas the design, facilitation, and direction of cognitive and social processes for the purpose of realizing personally meaningful and educationally worthwhile learning outcomes is defined as teaching presence (1). The COI can be used as a framework to facilitate and enhance online/blended learning through use of media presentation such as YouTube, blogger and screencast-o-matic. Educators have worked hard over the years

Comparing Modes of Delivery

In education there can be various modes of delivery for teaching and learning. Recently due to the covid-19 pandemic which emerged in March 2020, the world of education experienced a major shift from the more familiar face to face learning mode of delivery to online and blended learning. Face to face learning involves a live interaction/ physical contact between the learner and the instructor (1). Face to face learning although different have a few similarities with online learning. Some of these similarities include: ·        Both method require the instructor to be creative in creating lesson plans ·        Learners in both methods need to participate actively and study ·         Both methods are effective in achieving good learning outcomes (2). Regardless of these similarities face to face learning and online learning also have their differences. Some of these differences include: ·         Learning via online provides more flexibility for adult learners as compared to
